Board Tasks

 May 14th, 2023:

  • Developing an MOU with LC Parks and Recreation to define engagement and boundaries
  • Opening the bank account with TLC Credit Union
  • Developing a Strategic Plan for the organization
  • Developing a Logo for the Friends Group (see logos below from others)
  • Developing Information pieces about the Friends group for distribution at events 
  • Speaking at the next Taft Park open house on Saturday, June 24th, about the Friends Group (David happy to blab about it), 12PM, during Touch a Truck event, Community Center
  • Center for Nonprofit Law - Directors Training Sessions - scheduled soon
  • Prior to becoming a 501c(3), ensuring donors have the two attached documents to help them feel good about giving!
  • Oregon Community Foundation Follow up -  Liz Lawrence, llawrence@oregoncf.org
